Landlord and Tenant - Mobile Home Parks
questions & answers
Question: I had been taken to court for eviction. At court the parks attorney dismissed the case with prejudice. I was told that the management would contact me. Then for the next 6 months they refused every month to take my rent. Now after all that time I want to sell my trailer and the park won't let me remove it and say I have to now pay over 7000 dollars in back rent. Can they do this.
Answer: This is a complicated legal situation that you would be wise to discuss in more detail with an attorney. There are links to free and low-cost legal services on this website (at http://www.azlawhelp.org/accessToJustice).
