Question: In Arizona, can a creditor get a prejudgment garnishment against my funds in my bank checking account?

Answer: Bank garnishment is not an available remedy for an unsecured creditor until AFTER judgment, when the creditor becomes a "judgment creditor".  See the article on this website about the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act for information on consumer protections and rights when dealing with creditors.
