Question: My sister is married to her husband. He moved to Arizona and married a lady in the Indian reservation would this be a legal marriage and what does my sister need to do to nail this guy.
Answer: Bigamy is illegal in Arizona as it is in all the other states in the U.S. The question is whether he and the lady from the reservation are actually legally married. That may require some investigation. People often live together and tell the world they are married when no legal marriage has ever taken place. Your sister may wish to discuss the issue with a lawyer in the state where she lives to find out what steps she needs to take to either dissolve her marriage to the guy or to pursue a bigamy case against him.
