  • About 2 months ago, I trusted my car to someone I thought was a friend because they claimed to need transportation to their job. I have not seen my car since and this person broke off all communication. I have no idea where either this person or my car are. The police will not help because I gave this person the keys. They say it's a civil matter and to file a suit. How can a suit be filed if the whereabouts of the person are unknown. I need to know what my options are and want this person held accountable for stealing my car.
  • My total income is $15,000 annually from ss retirement. I have $12,000 in checking for which I plan to get dental repairs. I owe $40,000 on credit cards and have not made any payments since 2005. • I recently rented a room for my wife and I from a couple in Phoenix. I paid a deposit and three months rent in advance totaling $1625. I received signed receipts. Before moving in the landlord changed our original agreement and asked for a separate fee for utilities. We had agreed on a monthly rent charge that would include utilities.I informed the landlord that if he could not adhere to our agreement I would remove my property and wanted a refund. After considerable difficulty I was allowed to do so but a refund has been refused. A lease was also refused. I never stayed in the home even once.
  • I recently renewed my lease. When doing that I made it aware to my apartment manager that my ceiling was leaking!I was told that the AC unit ( which is a P-tech unit like used in hotels) from the apartment above me was leaking. So they told the tenants to place a bucket under the unit to catch the water!!! Well my ceiling still leaks from time to time and the sheet rock has started to fall, and the window casing near the leak had also beginto fall!! Im 3 months into my new lease and they still refuse to make repairs!!!! Can I break my lease without penalty because of neglected repairs?
