QUESTIONS

  • how many people can live in a two bedroom property rental
  • My wife and I are currently going through a divorce. She opened a separate checking account before I filed but transferred her check to her new account afterwards and didn’t inform me about it until payday because we both get paid the same week. I need to know if she’s in violation of a court order because it was my understanding that you cannot hide funds, get loans etc. until the divorce is final??
  • I had a DUI in 2005. I thought everything was done. In 2014 the court issued a warrant for my arrest ( I found out because they suspended my concealed weapons license ) .I called the city court and they said it was over a DUI in 2005. I went to court , and the judge said I did not do 36 hours of alcohol treatment. I had receipts for traffic school, MADD school, level 1 school . The attorney I had, when I called him, said that a retired judge was going back thru all the DUI cases because Tucson was broke and was trying to get more money from everybody. Is this legal after 9 years?
  • I have a defiant 17 year old daughter who is violent and verbally abusive. She has even damaged our home by punching holes in the doors and is using drugs. She will not follow any of our rules and basically comes and goes as she pleases. She turns 18 in 5 months, but will not graduate high school until May of next year. Are we still responsible for her until she graduates, or do our responsibilities end once she turns 18? She is causing turmoil and fear within our home and we just don't know what our rights are.
  • My husband apparently owes $40,000 to arrears. He has been garnished for two years now and the amount on the statements does not go down, is there something wrong with this? Plus even though he pays child support and arrears they just now put a hold on his bank account, can they do this?
  • We are 2 months behind rent minus 100$. he shut off electricity. What should we do
  • A person of 18 years old is allowed to posess a handgun purchased through a private party or gifted as I understand it (and confirmed by ATF). What is the law on purchases of pistol ammo under 21?
  • If one room in my apartment needed the carpet replaced can they make me replace the whole apartment?
  • We hired a lawyer to file court papers to stop foreclosure. He did not file in time but He said he called bank and they said they would wait 1 more week to foreclose because our lawyer needed more time. The bank did not wait and foreclosed anyways (of course) our lawyer did not file proper paper work for that he just called the bank and they said ok Now we are losing our house and don't know who to get help from. We have paid thousands to these lawyers and are waiting to see if appeals court will take our case. We did what were suppose to do they did not Have lived here 31yrs. who can help
  • Is there a law that says that it is illegal to consent to sex if the person who is consenting is a minor? (Meaning, they are not old enough to make that decision)
