  • I am a victim of a ponzi scheme, lost all my money, am being sued by a friend, as if I was responsible, for fraud in Phoenix. Have spent countless hours trying to find an attorney to answer the complaint before it goes to a default judgement. Need desperately to talk to counsel.
  • In 2013 I got charged with drug paraphernalia, I never went to court do I had a warrant out. In 2018 it got dismissed after 5 year review.. I recently got in trouble and have a court date coming up soon, is there any chance they can reopen and charge me for the case in 2013?
  • We notified landlord we are terminating our lease that is effective through September 08. We actually vacated the house June 11. We asked landlord to find another tenant that could move in before out lease is up so we can get out of our lease early. Landlord said they were looking for new tenant but then said they wanted their friends to move in Jan. 09. They are playing with our money now by not looking for a new tenant. Can they do that?
  • We terminated our lease early. We gave them notice in writing. They have continued to stall getting the house rented to someone else. It was ready to be moved into at the first of the month and they won't even let a new tenant look at it until the 10th. I read that according to Ariz rev stat 33-1370 that a "landlord has a duty to find a new tenant". I'm having a problem finding that actual wording in the law. We are on the hook for rent until a new renter is found, but it seems they are preventing that.

However, in the AZ Landlord and Tenant Act it states that Security deposits may be used towards the payment of all rent. Which is correct?

In the judges ruling, he claimed that I was convicted of Domestic Violence and that I was abusing te legal system by reporting Domestic violence by my ex. I have never been charged but my ex has been 12 times with 5 convictions and 5 other charges dismissed as part of plea agreements. Do I have any recourse against the judge?
