  • Questions on the rights of unmarried fathers-Is it possible to get a court order for a paternity test while the mother is still pregnant (we are not married), or does AZ not recognize those tests? Is it possible to have the mother court ordered to allow me at prenatal appts and the birth of my unborn child? Lastly, do I (as an unmarried father) have any rights at all while the mother is still pregnant? I understand I can gain rights AFTER the child is born, but I would like to be involved long before that.
  • I have(had) a roommate who Moved out when she lost her job. She hasn't paid rent for 2 months but she left all her belongings here. The tenants refuse to move and have not paid rent.They only had a month to month oral agreement with the former owner. One of the tenants claims that he is on parole and cannot be evicted. Is this a valid defense to the UD action?
  • I purchased a farm using two different private loans(no banks). One loan was on a promissory note. Animals were used as the collateral on the note. Having defaulted on the note, I have turned over all the animals to the party owed. Is there an Arizona law or case that establishes the turnover of collateral as discharge of the note?
