QUESTIONS

  • The landlord refuses to give me a last name or address to file paperwork. I have a judgment against me because I finished the lease was month to month and grew frustrated with the Mickey mouse repairs being made. I have a judgement against me but he also kept 1,150.00 deposit and wont count any of it toward my judgement. How can attain this eviction info?
  • My husband and I are in a covenant marriage and we both agree we want to divorce (. From what I've read this is allowed by the court without stipulation. Which form does the courts need to pursue this? We have both search extensively and short of hiring lawyers (which neither of us want to do) we are unable to find this information out. Please help! (there are no children and no argument regarding property)
  • We gave a roommate 30-day verbal notice that his month-to-month lease was up. If he doesn't leave could his drinking binges (including driving on a suspended license, with no insurance), and belligerent, vaguely threatening but scary behavior be enough to get an immediate eviction started? He will go into the kitchen falling down drunk when everyone else is asleep, and I'm afraid he could start a fire, by accident or on purpose. Or would we have to give him written notice and start from square one? Thanks!
  • We signed a 4 month lease at an RV Storage facility to rent a 60' space for our 20' trailer, because we were told only 60' spaces were available. After parking the trailer in the assigned space we discovered it is not 60' but 40', which rents for $75 per month. The facility continues to insist it's a 60' space, refuses to measure it & refuses to change our rental rate to $75. They only offer to move us to "another" 60' space as a solution. Is it legal for them to overcharge us like this? What recourse do we have? We suspect they're doing this to others. Isn't this fraud? What rights do we have
  • My divorce was processed in AZ, but my son and I now live in Mt. My son 16 year old son does NOT want to go back to Az for visitation with his father. What is his rights ? Does he have to go? Will I get in legal trouble if I do not force him to go ?
  • I was very ill last year and let my Aunt and grandmother take my children to Idaho. While my children were there they filed a motion of abuse with the state of Idaho and I may possibly lose my girls. I have been serve with quite a bit of paperwork from the courts and don't knowhow to fill it out. I only make $7 an hour and don't have the money to get an attorney. I don't want to lose my girls and need some help to answer these letters from the courts of Idaho.
  • My ex-girlfirend attacked me with a crow bar and split open the back of my head and when I called the police they were trying to make it seem like I was the one who had done something wrong can I go to the police station on my own and file a report there? Also I wanted to know if I am able to go and make a report on my own will she be charged with anything?
  • i have been raising my grandson since he was 4months old he in now two in a half years old is there a limit,i mean if he lived with me for this long do i have aprentle rights?
  • Is the self-help booklet available in Spanish?
  • I have been living in the residence of my 8 year old daughters father's home for the past 2.5 years. During our child custody proceeding I voluntarily decided to pay 700 for child support. When I moved back into the residence we verbally came to an agreement that instead of having the child support reduced, that would be my portion of the rent. I have decided to file motion for joint custody of my child and the father is threatening to evict me. Since there was no lease agreement drawn up an only a verbal agreement in regards to the child support paid as rent can I be evicted? Can I appeal?
