QUESTIONS

  • Im separated not yet divorced. We lived in Arizona then agreed to move to Colorado last August. While in Colorado she was verbally abusive, she cheated and at one point hit me in front of our son and daughter. I told her I no longer wanted to be with her. She took the kids back to Arizona.I only allowed this because she said she would send them to me in January, yet never did.I have emails to prove hitting&leaving agreement. Also of her saying I cant skype the kids unless I sends money, though I have been biweekly.I want custody but dont have the funds right now. Where can I start?
  • My old Apartments received a judgement for 2400 and now the collection agency is trying to get 3000. I asked for all proof of debit and judgment and all they sent was a copy of lease and the ledger from apartments adding the extra 600. Can they collect more then the judgment?
  • I have a mentaly disabled daughter that is 20 yrs old. She is wanting to give up her rights to make all decisions because she is scared she is going to make bad ones. What can i do and how do i do it????
  • i own my mobile home rent the space my home was vandalized does the park owner carry any responsibility
  • Hello. I am in a second marriage. Our investments and home are in a trust with my husband. But I have received some money as an inheritance. Can I put this is a separate savings in my name only, with my sons as beneficiaries?
  • My mothers health has drastically changed and she only lives on social security, a very small disability bi-weekly stipend and has medicare. While my mother has been accepted for medicaid as a secondary insurance, she will have to contribute monthly of $406 so that she will be able to have full time home health care (vs only part time with medicare). This expense will make it impossible to help her pay her credit card debts off. My mother needs to contribute to medicaid but then won't have enough to pay off her debts. What are options as far as her credit cards? Should I close them (with her on the phone) and let them know that she is unable to pay so we'd need a settlement price? Or just walk away? I am unsure of her options as my original plan was to help her pay them off one by one.
  • Does the child support packet need to be filed with initial divorce forms or does parenting time and custody need to be established first?
  • My child was born in California, but now we live in Arizona. My wife and I are in agreement on changing her name. My question is that, can I go through the Arizona courts to change her name. Or do I have to file all the paperwork through California courts.
  • I am 19 and am pregnant and I'm trying to find out how to get some money until I have the baby so I can start work again?
  • do you have to report your debt in a divorce, if you and your spouse have already agreed on how to split it up?
