QUESTIONS

  • I have a question concerning FBI federal background checks. Is it true that the state only reports arrests to the FBI if there are fingerprints? If I have a dismissed misdemeanor, which did not require my fingerprints or an arrest, will the record be sent to the FBI?
  • Guardianship of 2 minors not related to myself or my fiancé.. we have two children that have been willingly given to us by there father and we would like to get temporary custody for them so we have time to start the full adoption papers... Both parents are iagreeable with us taking them but some of there other family isint happy about it. We are not requesting any money or anything from parents. What is the quickest and simplest way to file something so they can't take them away from us (the family, not parents).
  • I need to know what constitutes a legal bill of sale.I have a signed document between to parties for the rent to own.I am now told it's NOT legal.I also made a $5,000.00 deposit nobody wants to count.
  • I am USN veteran seeking legal services and advice on a matter that concerns a home that I have purchased with a former significant other. what legal services are available if any to me.
  • My ex and I moved into a place together, now that we are not together neither of us is willing to move out of the rental. The utilities are in my name, I get mail here, since we moved in a couple months ago he has paid the rent but I have paid the utilities and groceries ect. Can he legally kick me out and make me leave?
  • my live in boyfriend of three years was removed from my home which i own with pfa order. if the pfa is overturned at the hearing will he be able to move back in. he has threatened my life in the past.
  • I have full legal sole custody of my daughter with her father having supervised visitation. He hasn't utilized his visitation in 6 months and hasn't paid child support in 3 years. His parents live in Delaware and visit every 1-2 years. I allow them to see my daughter but she is not comfortable going alone as she barely remembers them when she sees them. His parents are threatening to take me to court, do they have a case even though I let them see her but don't let them take her unsupervised? She is 6.
  • Who do I report to if I know of someone working while being paid for medical disability?
  • So one of my good friends is a felon for drug charges. He is currently on probation. My issue is I give him rides to help him get on his feet. I have also allowed him to stay at my house when things get bad with his family. Does him being in my car or house allow the police to search it without probable cause? I am sometimes in Scottsdale or phoenix too. Do the laws change there? I believe I should be entitled to basic constitutional rights, but does being with a felon remove my rights?
  • My ex and I divorced with one child. He owns his own business and put down his estimated income on the child support form. It was signed and finalized as a part of the divorce and he paid child support and 70% of medical bills. We are updating our incomes and he is stating he made less than expected and that, because he was incorrect with his income, I owe him thousands of dollars for the over-payment. Is this accurate? It was he who stated and signed that income amount and because he was wrong, he is stating I owe him for my daughter's medical expenses and child support he paid.
