  • I received a loan check from a company I previously had a loan with at one time. The check had only my name and I was the only one to sign it. Now, due to being laid off, a judgement has been entered and they will begin garnishing my wages. However, they also included my now ex-husband in the judgement and are going to garnish his wages. How can they do this if the loan was in my name only?

  • The mobile home park I live in is corporate owned. February, 2018, the park got a new manager. The manager sent out a general letter stating that, starting 2/12/18 lot inspections will be conducted and then every two weeks after. Is management required by law to send a letter to each individual resident, specifying the date in which a uniformed employee will be on the rented space for inspection? Is management allowed to just send a general letter? In the past, they have come onto the property without any prior notice, have taken pictures, then sent a warning for rule violations.
  • I was unable to complete a walk through at the time my lease ended, due to my partner being hospitalized and my work schedule. We were never provided with a list of damages or costs until being contacted by collections. I did provide my forwarding address and phone number but no contact was made. I saw they are supposed to provide the documentation within 14 days. I do not believe we had a security deposit, but if we never were provided documentation in a timely manner, are we able to contest collection fees and accrued interest?

Since there was no lease agreement drawn up an only a verbal agreement in regards to the child support paid as rent can I be evicted? Can I appeal?

My daughter is either scared or blind to the fact she must file for child support for her son. She is digging a hole for herself and her son which she will not be able to get out of. Can a grndprt file child support on behalf of a grandchild?
