My lease expires in one month and I just recently received a renewal notice 1 week ago and they raised my rent by 70 dollars and I told them I can not afford the much higher rent. I asked if they would negotiate a lower monthly rate or I would have to give a 30 days notice. I was told I would have to give a 60 days notice even though they only gave me a new 30 day renewal notice w/price is this correct?? Also the whole 9 years ans three management companies later I still have tile that has cracked across my whole front door, punch marks on my doors and metal stains in my bathroom sink

I have a 5 year old and she has my maiden name as her last name (her biological father is not in the picture and never has been) I recently got married and would like to hyphenate her last name with my maiden name and my married name. My felony conviction has been set aside. How do I now answer job app question that ask if I have "any felony convictions" or that include an exclusion of "annulled, expunged, or sealed convictions". I now know my case disposition is "set aside" (not guilty, not expunged). Based upon I read in this article, I thought I would be able to deny the felony question on job apps but none of the job apps I've seen have asked for "prior" convictions. I have been logging those questions just in case I had someone to ask on how to respond now that I have set aside order.

After divorcing in 1999 I raised my 3 children for years while my ex scated on the majority of the support she was supposed to pay. I let it go. After she failed to return two from a visitation I agreed to allow them to stay with her. She jacked up my payment by 4x as much based on a former income. She now takes 50% of my income including Soc Sec and is starving me out. A civil matter at this time. Possilby criminal fraud. She is a legal secretary and knew what she was doing. 87 filings. I can't afford the copying fees.
