QUESTIONS

  • How many kids can you put in a room
  • My ex wife filed for an order of protection from me, stating that I had committed acts of domestic violence against her and my children. She filed for it on Sept. 11, 2019 and said that the domestic violence had taken place within the past year. I had been 1500 miles away in the state of WA since 12/27/2017. Had not stepped foot in the state of AZ for almost two years. I have NEVER harmed my ex, nor our children, I have never made threats to hurt them, I don't even spank my children. This has torn my life apart. Is there any legal recourse for her lying, and keeping me from our kids?
  • My divorce papers state that my ex-husband pay for our daughters extra-curricular activities (piano, gymnastics etc)as well as $20.00 a month child support. He is not doing any other is. It also states he must see a therapist which he has not done. His visitation is Tuesdays/Thursdays 3-7 and every other Saturday but I have been letting him see her whenever he wants. Does that mean I'm in contempt? What can I do about him not paying for the things he's supposed to and going to a therapist? He still has not taken the parenting class the court requires either.
  • Is it against the law for my creditor (car dealership)to contstanly contact me at work even after I have verbally requested them not to? What can I do to protect my employment as them constanly calling may jeopordize my employment?
  • If a police officer is not on duty the day of a trial, will he come to court and testify? Is he required to show up even though it is his day off?
  • My ex-husband has made the choice to move 1 hour away from his daugther. We have joint custody however he is telling me I have to meet him halfway for drop off and pickup on his weekends. Is this correct?
  • What can I do when my ex girlfriend who is pregnant isn't going to tell me when and where our baby is going to be born?
  • I was considering a move from Texas to Show Low AZ. I put a $1000 deposit and paid $445 lot fee. When I returned home in TX. I realized that downsizing from a 2300sqft home to a 900sqft trailer was not doable for me at this time. After 2 days from signing the agreement, I gave my formal written notice that I had changed my mind. Now the owner will not refund my money. What can I do. $1400 dollars is quite an amount to keep for just because. I was told they could have shown the trailer 2 times during that time, however the unit was not even ready for someone to move in.
  • The house we are leasing has a converted garage that we were told is used as an office for the LL and he occasionally stays overnight when necessary. Although there is no mention of sharing the property in the lease, there is a small statement that the LL will pay $60 toward monthly rent for electricity. Isnt he liable for a share of all the utilities? Also, much if his behavior feels intrusive. What rights do we have re: Quiet Enjoyment?
  • The house is under contract "as is", delay in closing (1 month, then 3 more months due to divorce not yet finalized). Owner-to-be is paying rent month to month. Without permission or notice has rectified plumbing, tree, electric situations and now wants seller-to-be to pay expenses. Since it is under contract "as is", does seller-to-be have to pay anything?
