I recently had to go to court over child support/arrears. I was ordered to pay more than i can afford and I'm a 100% disabled medical veteran who only receives that money alone. The court told me that I would have to send in the money and they would not be able to take it from me. I have only 3 months left until my child turns 18 and the child support turns into only arrears. I am willing to pay something, but i cannot afford what they told me to. I need all the information for my state laws that can either help me in the best possible solution. i have read where some never pay after disability.

My ex would like to take our two children to CA during a school week. We have two conflicting documents. The Parenting Plan For: Joint Custody with Joint Custody Agreement states as follows: B. I am assuming this means he can only take the children on vacation during summer months or school break longer than 4 days. .... and the Consent Decree of Dissolution of Non-Covenant Marriage With Minor Children states the following: Custody and Parenting Time ... h.Vacation. Each parent shall be entitled to one additional week of vacation with the children in each year. Each parent shall provide the other with 60 days notice of their proposed dates for vacation. Which document prevails?

My son is 8 and his father has been in and out of his life we haven't seen or heard from him in about 7 months the longest time he has ignored our son has been a year-and-a-half he will randomly pop in and promise him a lot of things and when it's time to do for him he disappears . . .
