My 17 year old sister in law is pregnant and would like my husband and I to adopt her baby. What do I need to do to make this legal? What do I do if the father is not able to care for the child....but still wants him, he will probably end up in foster care if the father takes him.

We were told by a job worker that if my husband is going to school full-time (for 10month prgm) that that would be considered his full-time job to get cash assistance and i would be able to stay home with our 2 children who are 5 and 3

My mom told me I was an authorized user on her cc i use it and I pay it. She passed away. And I continued to use it and pay it . I never gave it a thought until one time I went to pay it and they won't take the payment. Now I have a letter telling me the whole amount is due and it came from the fraud department!! Am I in trouble?

Can a landlord require a tenant to pay $59 for a Technology Package (basic Cable and Wi-Fi) from Cox as a condition of Lease Renewal if tenant doesn't want it or have a TV or Computer/WiFi capable phone.

I listed my granddaughter as 18 month old. No fence or gate was around the pool from back doors of home, as required by permit under AZ Law. The lessor had a real estate agent as did we. The lease was broken, accepted by the lessor. The lessor does not want to refund $3,900.00 security deposit. The exterior fence from driveway also was not self closing either and we have pictures of both. Did the lessor break the AZ law by entering into a legal contract and not have a Permitted, Inspected fence and self closing gate around the pool, Knowing an 18 month old be occupying the leased home?

I was a victim of Domestic Abuse on 3/9/13. I called & also faxed a notice to landlord telling her I was vacating the property on 3/11/13 & told her why & attached copy of Restraining order. Now she won't give me back my deposit because she let my husband move back in & he messed up the place. At the time I gave her notice he was not living there & the keys were returned to her. Since she did not do a walk through on 3-11 and let him move back in, am I still responsible for damages? She said she had 30 days to release me from the lease. Is this true.

Is there a law in Arizona that states my parents must co-sign for me if I am 26 years of age. called Parental or Sponsor Guaranty Form.

I am a cashier and stand for 8 hours. Have severe leg and back pain. My doctor filled out the form to reduce my hours to 20 and no more than 6 hour shifts. For the FMLA do I have to be employed for 12 months for just a reduction in hours. Need to know before I submit form.
