  • Can a parent back date a child support modification?
  • The house is owned by us, but we are paying rent on a lot. My landlord gave us a notice saying we need to repaint our house or he will do it himself and charge us for it, is that legal?
  • We had an installer for a cable company in our house. My dog broke through the gate and bit his pants which scraped his leg. No puncture through the skin, no bleeding. Not trying to minimize what happened. It was scary. He put in a claim with his workmans comp. Now the Workmans Comp insurance company is sending us notices that we are responible to re-emburse them. The notice says "Medical Lein" Is this legal? They are being paid by the company and they also want to collect from us? The letter says I should submit a claim to my home owners insurance. Help?   • My power was recently turned off my APS without any notice. This was a discrepancy in billing due to an error on their side. I had no idea there was even an issue. According to them I needed to make a deposit payment to a separate account that I was not aware of. The person who set up the account did not notify me of this and made an error inputting the deposit amount. My dog was in out house with no AC while we were working and it was 105 degrees outside. I was wondering if it is legal for them to turn off our power when it is over 100 degrees without any notice.

  • My ex-wife has sole custody of our 14 year old daughter, and i'm pursuing sole custody. She remarried a felon with bad criminal past, and has 2 new babies with him. The 5 of them live in a 2 bed apt. Our daughter is sick all the time with numerous health problems, has excessive absences from school, and failing grades.I'm deeply concerned for her mental, emotional, physical, and moral health. My ex isn't giving her proper visitation with me. I live out of state and feel powerless until a court ruling can be made. I want action immediately. Does this merit an emergency post decree modification?
  • I was living in a place in az, i gotreally sick (Almost died) so i talked to management & they let me outta the lease. I received my damage deposit & a paper stating i owe nothing. Then 1-2years later i got a bill for $588.00 they said that the manager made a mistake as far as letting me outta of the lease. Can they bill me after that much time has passed?
