I was hired to work 8:30am to 5pm at a daycare and when i get there if there is not enough kids they will make me wait to start my shift until there are enough kids or work to do, the hours i am waiting are not being paid. I have also got in trouble for leaving the building if i am told i cant start yet. They want me to sit there and wait unpaid for sometimes up to 3 hours. I have brought this up to my manager but i feel they are taking advantage of my age because i am only 19

My landlord and I agreed upon me sending him 12 post dated checks for each month of my lease to be deposited on the appropriate month. After 6 months renting from him I closed my account due to fraudulent activity and have decided not to open another. I notified my landlord of the closure and advised I would be either mailing or making a direct deposit into his account going forward. I have never been late with my rent and my landlord is now telling me that the post dated checks are a requirement of my lease. Again, we agreed on the checks but I never understood it as a requirement.

I bought a house back when the housing market boomed and at the time had a decent job that can pay for the mortgage. A year and a half later my contract ended for the job and now can't afford the mortgage. I am wondering if it's possible to do a short sale with a good amount of savings in the bank? I have 2 mortgages with 2 different lenders. I just don't want to deplete my lifetime savings before I do a short sale. I haven't missed a payment.
