  • My sister in law came to stay with us from CA because we didn't want her to be homeless....we allowed her to stay here so that she could have time to get a job and find a place for herself. She is not on the lease and doesn't pay rent nor has there ever been rent spoken of because this was supposed to be temporary. She did have her mail forwarded to herself her. Since moving in we have found out she is actively using street drugs and is not making efforts to help herself and has become increasingly hostile and verbally abusive. Can she still be removed as a guest...the police said no. Help.

The apt. is claiming a 30 day vacancy notice but the lease is already up. i also had one roomate leave and another move in during the lease period.   • Recently, I have been put under a the protection of a restraining order with out my consent. It lasts one year and I do not wish to remain under it for that long. I'm going to turn 18 in a few months. Is it possible to take the protection of the restraining order off of me when I turn 18?
  • I live in a small town and rent on a primative dirt road that is not maintained by the county. My road is now a major mud pit and has very big ruts that I can't get my vehicle through. I contacted my landlord and he told me that it was not his problem. According to the county it is the responsibility of all property owners to maintain the road yet he still refuses to assess the situation. Can I send him a repair letter??
