Also my lease says if I am late on my rent after the 2nd there is a late fee of $50 and thereafter it will be $10. After the 5th day I received a 5 day notice on my door in which they charged me $25 for putting a 5 day notice on my door and they taxed the $25. That amount is not in my lease. Is this legal? shouldn't both the tax amt and the 5 day notice fee be listed in my lease?

  • I live in a mobile home park where i purchased a trailer for 5000$ after i bought the trailer we noticed we do nit have gas. I discussed this with the landlord and he discovered it was a bad gas line. We have not had gas for months the land lord is not fixing the problem I have no heat hot water or gas to cook with. Am I able to with hold rent? and if i have to leave the property can I be reimbursed for the trailer?
  • I leased house and signed an agreement before doing a walkthrough. I told him I could begin moving the next day, but decided to wait until repairs and cleaning are done. The property manager said it would take a week to do repairs. He will not change the move in date, which will cost me $300 for a week I am not there. Can I withhold a week’s rent next month for the delay or am I bound by the lease date?
