  • When renting month-to-month after a regular one year lease in an apartment what is the amount of notice rquired by law in order to vacate without penalty.
  • I currently have ahcccs and I am now moving to Florida. Will I still be covered?
  • I and my daughter have not seen my husband in 5 years. She is 6. He was abusive but never arrested because he was good at abusing without leaving marks and lying. He has taken steps to hide his whereabouts and stated that if he had to pay child support he would take custody. I have been with my current fiancé for about 3 years and he would like to adopt her. Can he do that before the divorce?
  • I own a mobile home but rent the land it sits on (in a park). Monthly, the landlord sends a bill that includes a base rent, charges for electricity, water use, and sewer. It also includes a "rent tax." I'm unsure what this rent tax is and whethere he should be paying it or I should. There is also a "service charge" of $10 on the monthly electric portion, which I think is a reading fee (a man who lives here reads the meters). Are these last two charges legitimate?

  • How do I go about removing people who live in my house who are not on the lease. I understand they have squatters rights. How would I go about legally removing them from my home? I am not the landlord I am the tenant, but my name is on the lease and all the bills. I do not want them in my home any more they have been here illegally for about 3 months. They are not on the lease, how can I legally remove them without losing the house myself?
  • I have a collection on my credit report which belongs to my husband. When contacting the collection agency, they told me that this collection will stay on my report because I am married to the person which ows them money. The account was included in our bankruptcy in 2013 as an individual debt and not a joint debt. Am I responsible for my husbands debt? It was for electrical service my husband applied for himself.
