  • I sent my July rent on the 30th of June, the 8th my landlord tells me am late and to send rent and late fees. I sent him an email telling him I had sent it since the 30th, no response. I sent him another one saying that I will resend the check again, no response either. apparently he hasn't receive the new check either. Becouse it hasn't cleared. I asked him if he had gotten it and he said he would check and get back to me but no answer yet. I have no returned mail. Is it possible he wants to evict me?

  • I am the gaurdian of my disabled son. He recieves social security because I am disabled. The guardianship began on his 18th birthday. Because I am traveling I have an agreement with his mother for him to stay with her. She expects me to continue to send her an additional $1200 because that was my child support agreement. I told her that was changing. She needed to provide reciepts for reimbursement for any thing above his room and board. She believes this money is for her use and has filed a motion to have herself named as guardian. Question does child support continue for an adult in guardian

  • PP = Parenting Plan CS = Child Support My PP/CS was based on my son living with my ex and being with me on weekends, holidays & school breaks. I agreed to pay her triple CS for 24 months. My PP/CS has yet to be signed off by a judge. My ex has now left my son in my care mon-fri. & attending school in my area. Can I request to rescind the PP /CS agreement based on the fact she is not following the parenting plan submitted? She is of the opinion that since it is essentially a 50/50 parenting plan she is still entitled to the triple CS amount even though she is not following the PP plan.
  • Currently my home is not in foreclosure. I am behind in payments and the bank will not allow me to make partials. They are willing to reinstate the loan but I am unable to raise the 6 payments required. I have received default and letters of intent to accelerate. The bank is recommending a short sale. I want to work this out and I have saved 3 payments and I wish to stay in the home. We received a modification in 2012 and a special forbearance in 2013 I am back to work after being laid off in September and emergency surgery in December. Do I claim bankruptcy in order to save my home?
  • My apartment lease will be expiring in a few months and the new lease that has been proposed includes a new payment for a percentage of the common area utilities. The calculation is based on the total utility bill for the common areas then breaks down by square footage and number of occupants of each apartment. The monthly charges will fluctuate from month to moth as the common area charges change. My questions are is this legal? Aren't we already paying for the common area utilities by paying rent? Would this not be consider a double dip? Please advise. Thank you, Kathleen Ingram

She has been in the middle of trying to divorce him for a year and 2 months now but for some reason its taking an extremely long time. i want to know if our baby will be considered mine, and if i will have legal rights and be put onto her birth certificate....please any insight will be greatly appreciated.
  • Basically what happened is I signed a year lease with my landlord. We completed the entire year and moved out. Turns out they auto enrolled us into month to month without our consent. The bill started to rack up and we had no knowledge of it. They end up gettig a judgement against us without anyone of our knowledge. Its been about 4 years and i found out recently. Is there anyway i can dispute this? Do i not deserve my day in court?
