  • Can I be charged $1400 deposit on a $600  a month apt. And she wants every dollar I make until paid off...I only make 400 a month plus my sons ssi and am having trouble paying electric.
  • I have a decree from Colorado stating that my Ex-Husband is responsible for certain debts. Creditors are coming after me for the debts because he didn't pay them and 1 creditor is suing me, I answered the complaint and they filed a motion for a judgement and I have to answer in 10 days. Am I responsible for debt that was ordered under the decree to be paid by my Ex?
  • Had building inspected privately and my unit had black mold. Myself and toddler became sick. They never fixed it. They placed a large plastic cover over my bed with an extension chord that was lying over my bed hanging out window and left it. I have a toddler. Rain + Water and an open window! LEFT THE EXTENSION CHORD OUT THE WINDOW not smart. Wasn't fixed in 3 weeks so so I moved and they placed an eviction on my record. Need advice
  • We have received numerous noise complaints. We addressed the issue multiple times. It was determined that the flooring was poor and that the plumbing in our apartment was broken (causes a loud banging anytime water is turned on). Leasing staff entered our apt. without permission and stated they discovered these things. We thought they found the source of the noise and would figure out a solution. Yesterday we received another 10 day noise complaint. My roommates and I are afraid of eviction and we aren't sure what the next steps should be.
  • Our building is pretty old and the plumbing here is always giving everyone problems. Usually the owner fixes it and that's that. Well this time, the toilet is plugged up and it's the 3rd time. It wasn't fixed right the first time or the second time. Because I have been having problems with it ever since. Including right after they supposedly fixed it the first time. So this time (3rd time) the landlord (not the owner) says I have to pay her husband to fix it. I have a 14 yo son n a 17 yo daughter as well as myself who is disabled n our room mate who islike 63 yo. Do I have to pay?
