QUESTIONS

  • My ex-girlfriend and I obviously separated and have not done any legal custody paperwork with our (she is the mother) two children (ages 3 and 1). The boys constantly stay at the house that I own and never go to their mothers. She only sees them at my house for the 40 hours that I work per week and that is it. Their addresses (including the mother's mail) all come to the house that I own. She has now grown upset and wants to take the children to some long distant relative in Colorado just because she is angry. I do have the 3 year old enrolled in a local Prescott Valley school as well.
  • If I dont show up to court when he fights to have it dismissed will it be dismissed and will it show up on a back ground check that this ever happened to him.
  • I recently found out that I am the bio-logical father of a 14 year old daughter who has been adopted. I never knew until June 2011 that I was this child’s father. What rights do I have since this was done without my knowledge? This was actually done in Colorado but I reside in Arizona. I do not want to up-root my child from her adoptive family as she has been with them for 6 years but I would like to met her and let her know that I did not abandon her and I am here for her if she wants to get to know me.
  • My ex husband currently has temporary custody of our three kids. The order was granted for a year. That year has past already and since then I have made great progress in life. It was my decision to give their father the kids because after he abandoned me and the kids, I was having a difficult time trying to support myself and my kids. Throughout our 13yr marriage I was a stay at home mother as he requested, so being as such, gaining stability did not come easy. Now that I have stability he makes it hard to be active in our kids lives. How do I regain rights to my kids?
  • Need a lawyer I don't have much money. They say I owe money I know someone has used my name Please tell me what I do to stop this.
  • Can a landlord abbrubtly, without a written notice, enter my house if I have yet to pay my months rent? I am right now 4 days late from paying.
  • My apartment is having a cockroach problem. The people have sprayed buy they still aren't going away. Can I do anything since they have actually been trying? Or am I able to take action since the problem still persists?
  • I have been renting for almost 5 yrs. The rental came with appliances. The touch pad for the water and ice is cracked and the button is showing. Every one tells me it is wear and tear but the landlord wants me to replace it.It's $150 just for that part. By law, Do I have to or is it wear and tear?
  • Who do you contact to see if there is a child support order against you? Is there an online search engine by name or SSN?
  • I have a 9 year old child and share custody with her monther from whom I am divorced. I am now applying for social security benefits and have learned that my child is eligible for benefits. Since I have my daughter almost 50% of the time and maintain a residence where she has a separate room, clothing and articles, would the benefit paid to the child go to the mother? I don't feel this is fair since I am responsible for her medical expenses, child support, etc. Can you please advise.
