  • I just recently moved from California and can’t see to find info on these admin and late fees. I paid a $265 admin fee during application process. After I moved in something went through causing that payment to bounce back. I received a 5 day notice to pay that says my “rent” is late and also assessed a $10 day late fee. 1. Can I be evicted over an admin fee. 2. Is this form correct in stating its “rent” 3. Are these late fees legal and can they evict me over them 4. Can I be evicted over a reversed admin fee?

  • I was charged with(DV) but my ex-spouse called the district attorneys office and told them that I never hurt her or had physical contact with her... I keep telling the courts "why am i being charged with a crime if there's no victim, & the so-called victim called the DA's office to inform them about that there was no assult... I do have a very bad pass record but in none of my passed have i ever had a DV on my record... Could use some advice on this matter... Thank you for your imput....
  • I submitted an application to Community Legal Services, yesterday, for Cody Mohr. What is the next step? I attempted to call the Central office today. I was on hold and had only one person ahead of me, then the hour passed and they hung up, as they stated they would. I can try again tomorrow. Should Cody and I go down to their office. Would he be able to find out when he might get to talk to someone about free legal help? Please advise. Cody's daughter is very bright should not have been held back in 1st grade.   • I have been accepted to job corps a program that pays for everything for me to study and on the job training. the only state that allows me to take my 7 month child with me is North Dakota. The father of my child hasnt been in her life these last three months even when i call him and text him he just ignores me. He is on the birth certificate but isnt helping me with any child expenses and doesnt even want to see her. He said it was okay for me to take her before but he got mad one day and said i couldnt. Their is no papers set down in court either.
  • Hi, I have a few questions. I have a landlord that recently told me the rent was going up by 200 dollars with about a 2 week notice via text message. Is that legal? Also, I had told her I was having an issue with foul odors coming from the hall restroom and requested her send a plumber or her handyman. This problem has been brought up to her previously as well and no action was taken on her part. She actually got upset with me at the request. She then by text again said she should have raised my rent to 1250 if she knew I was going to "complain". We also are having ac problems . Please help
  • Paid $150 for hair services and was not happy with outcome,. The business offered to fix for free under their 2 week service guarantee. After having the "fix" completed they attempted to charge me $75 stating that I had agreed to pay! I left very angry and wrote to the BBB. The business is charging me for theft and I want to know what options I have as I do not feel I should have to pay more for services that were offered to correct their mistake! I have pictures and the $150 receipt from the original service.
