QUESTIONS

  • I have a tenant that cannnot get their car in the garage as it scrapes the bottom going up the incline. What am I as a landord responsible for? They are getting notices about parking the cars illegally.

He has recently filed in court for joint custody and child support. He is unable to hold a steady job for more than a few months at a time. He also has a history of drug use and violence. Am I at risk of loosing custody due to work? Should I put my kids in daycare?
  • I am a current mobile home owner in mesa. My husband and I have maintained our trailer to the standards put forth in the lease. We are very disappointed at our park owners for allowing an owner to treat the park as a place of business which is prohibited in the park lease. How or what are our legal means of attempting to see the problems corrected.
  • My landlord is trying to evict us for non-payment of rent. I called her and offered to pay her rent through a charity. She refused it and said that she does not accept rent from charities.  Can I use this as a defense?
