QUESTIONS

  • My boyfriend and I rent a mobile home in Glendale AZ. The mobile home park has the electric in the parks name and we just pay the park for electricity. 3 days ago the main breaker blew and was smoking, this is not the first time the breaker box smoked, srp came out and said it was the parks responsibly to replace the box. An unlicensed electrician that lives in the park has yet to fix the problem. The owner knows of the problem and has done nothing. I just recently had a stroke and my boyfriend is a diabetic. His insulin needs refrigerated and has not so $3200 worth of insulin went bad.
  • my ex and i have court appointed parenting time in family court. my ex keeps bringing her boyfriend around me during these exchanges and i have an OOP against him for threatening my life. my biggest question is i know he is violating law by doing that and can be arrested but is she in violation of some law in arizona by allowing it? FYI she has known about the OOP since it was issued and she helped fight it for him in court so "i didn't know about it" doesn't apply in this situation. im in fear that my ex is attempting to cause an issue by having him around when we exchange our children
  • if a tenant call you about a cooling unit how long do you have to get it fixed
  • I was laid off from my job. Is there a time deadline that the employer has to give me my final paycheck? This is delaying my unemployment benefits application. Thank you.
  • I currently have joint custody of my children in which I have them 50% of the time. My ex-wife and I do not agree on which schools our children should attend, and our paperwork states that neither of us can make the final decision. An attorney had told me that if we have tried mediation with conciliation services (which we have tried), then the next step would be to file a motion for school determination. My question is: how do you go about doing that? I do not see forms that seem to pertain to this. Thanks!
  • How can I kick my ex girlfriend out of the home I own? broke up with my ex about 2 yrs ago. She didn't have anywhere else to go so I let her stay. She pays 30% rent and the water bill. I have repeatedly asked her to move out for months. I moved her stuff to the garage when she refused. I gave her an eviction notice for 30 days. She said that I can't legally evict her since she has established residency at my home and gets mail. I am being held hostage in my own home. I want to move on with my life and my new relationship.
  • I have rented my home for 18 years and now my landlord has decided to sell the house..he gave us 60 days to find a place to live plus another two weeks but with rent so high its been hard to find another place to live especially for 7 people what can I do? Can I get more time ?
  • My husband has left me and moved to San Diego. He has left me with all the bills to pay. I am going to be evicted myself if I don't pay rent by the 16th. Can I get any help for abandinment?
  • The child support payments I pay are garnished through my employer. The monies are paid to a gov't clearing house agency in Phoenix. When I changed jobs and wages began garnishment (eventually) the amount that was garnished was incorrect. I didn't realize and had no part in setting up the garnishment. Now I am being sued for arrears. Who is responsible for submitting the correct garnishment calculations? The court order clearly states the monthly amount to be paid.
  • The mother left me off of the birth certificate and now I would like to petition for a paternity test and look into getting parenting time. I was wondering what documents I would need to file at the court and if a trial, where she and I were both in a courtroom in front of a judge, was imminent, or if the court would bring us both in to a judge in an office to discuss things. If we were brought into an office would lawyers be allowed or strictly she and I? Also, what if I file a parenting time petition and the mother does not agree to it? Could the judge agree to it without her consent or?
