  • How do you calculate interest due on late child support payments?
  • I was notified today that my property management company is no longer under contract with the owners due to a death of the main owner. What are my rights as far as if I just move out or how long do I have until locks are changed?

  • I owe a debt to a creditor for medical expenses. The creditor has increased the debt by charging me a penalty for not paying on time. Is this legal? Are all late fees penalties?

  • I was a stay-at-home mom for the majority of my marriage. During that time I accrued some student loans. In our separation agreement we each agreed to pay half of that, and any other, debt. A lawyer I spoke with stated that I am eligible for alimony (we were married 9 years and I stayed home for 6 of them), but my spouse takes great exception to this.
