  • My ex husband currently has temporary custody of our three kids. The order was granted for a year. That year has past already and since then I have made great progress in life. It was my decision to give their father the kids because after he abandoned me and the kids, I was having a difficult time trying to support myself and my kids. Throughout our 13yr marriage I was a stay at home mother as he requested, so being as such, gaining stability did not come easy. Now that I have stability he makes it hard to be active in our kids lives. How do I regain rights to my kids?
  • I’ve been paying Jasper for eight years. And I just found out that her stepdad adopted my daughter. Without my knowledge. Being that he adopted or am I obligated to continue to pay child support? Of course I will continue to support her. I just wanna know what my options are

  • July of this year my ex-husband passed away and I am executor of his will. I have got a estimate of his mobile home and property. I am the one who is to receive any of his property. My question is do I have to put the property and mobile home in my name as I do not intend to keep it. It is completely paid for. The reason I ask this question is that I am on disability and have no intention to live there due to my health because the place is about 5 miles out in the country. If I put it in my name will it have effect on the benefits I get from disability and the state. Please let me know as soon as someone gets to answer this.

  • I have a son that is almost 2. His father and I have been together for 4 years. Because of work we moved to CA 10 months ago. There is domestic violence in the relationship. I need to get my son away from his father into a safer environment. I am planning to move back to AZ. Does anyone know if I am able to file for full custody in AZ. My son was born in Gilbert and lived in Chandler from birth until we moved. (1 year) I am trying to figure out the best way to get back to AZ and obtain full custody while not endangering my son or myself from his fathers anger. Any advice is appreciated.
  • My apartment has developed a rat problem. I found a hole that I believe they are coming out of. Instead fixing the hole the landlord told me to buy traps and poison then he'll reimburse me. Can I fix the hole and bill the landlord? If i break the lease can use this issue in court to get out of paying back rent?
