I am sending this for my mother. My dad left her his retirement to her but nothing else. She has about $25,000 in credit card debt (they bought a vehicle using a credit card with a 2% interest)and has an income of about $4,277 including retirement, veterans benefits and ss. Everything was fine until ill health made it impossible for her to live alone. She sold her mobile home, put the $$ in savings and moved into a senior apartment. She has recently moved into a more expensive assisted care living. Her income is enough to pay her rent but we still have to pay her $600 a month credit cards bills that my dad left her with. She only has about $1,100 in saving so either she files for bankrupcy or she just doesn't pay her credits cards anymore. She does use her credit cards so bad credit will not hurt her. I am sure that her current living location will not kick her out as long as she is paying her rent. What will happen if she doesn't pay her credit card bills anymore?

I and my ex girlfriend are both minors, at the age of 16. Now, after a month of being broken up she has told me that she is pregnant. She has had this confirmed by the doctor and is now saying that she is going to need child support from me; furthermore,if I don't give the money to her she will get a court order. Do I have any right to deny the possibility that the child is mine, or deny paying child support? I am unemployed and my legal guardian is as well; we live off of my mothers child support for her own kids.

Can I get cudsty over the baby before he is born or dose that have to get done after he is born?

I live in a apartment under my moms name and she is getting help. From a government program to pay her rent. On the lease she agreed if anything we're to happen to her like if she dies i have x amount of days to move out. Well yesterday the manager said i will have 5 days After her death to move out. She is now on hospice and can go any day. I have no where to go. Can i still stay here legally for 3 months like any other eveiction??

I'm a little confused on what I should do my father-in-law just passed away last month on the 29th he was on hospice here at the house my mother-in-law passed away 4 years ago and we have got an eviction letter I guess that house sold at auction and I'm confused on what I should do because the eviction was for my mother-in-law and father-in-law they've lived in this house for 34 years his house payment was only $248 a month he was losing his marbles and yesterday the sheriff came until this we have till Wednesday to be out how is that right.
