QUESTIONS

  • I am having my first baby in 4 weeks. I would like to have my baby receive my boyfriends last name and have him listed as the father but i am concerned. If I do this will he be able to take the baby and not give her back ? Should i have some sort of custody arrangements in place before i put his name on the birth certificate? I am worried. Please give me some advice. Thank you.
  • My landlord seems to be blowing off some of my repair improvement requests on the house I'm renting. These requests include sealing the 3 doors to enter the house, open electrical outlets, the water heater makes the loud popping noises, insulation and overall sealing of the house. We get a lot of bugs inside, some of the wood post that hold up the carport are not secured to the roof. Even though the roof had been repaired before we moved in, there are still many spots around the house that are very visible, that it's obviously rotted wood. Am I allowed to renegotiate my rent?

Im afraid if she finds out she will take him from me
  • I am a current mobile home owner in mesa. My husband and I have maintained our trailer to the standards put forth in the lease. How or what are our legal means of attempting to see the problems corrected.
  • I am representing myself, Pro Per in a short 1 hour hearing on temp orders. I am the petitioner and the respondent is listing me as on e of her witnesses to call. Can I refuse to take the stand as her objective will be to get me to testify against myself and I cannot cross examine myself after? Also can I and how could I ask the Judge to not grant every witness she has submitted, time on the stand, as that will run out the clock with so many of them? I have not called any witnesses because we only were given an hour and thought this was only to go over the details of already submitted evidence
  • I was married for 14 years and do already receive 50% of my exhusbands military pension. When he dies, will i still be entiteled to this pension ?
  • If I found a cell phone and had it in my possession for a week. The owner was able to track and came to retrieve the property. She then filed a stolen property report to the police, and I went to trial. is there a time limit on how long someone has to retrieve lost property? How can I get found guilty on theft when I didn't steal anything?
  • My girlfriend is having a baby and I want to sign the birth certificate as the babys father. Can I do this?
  • I have had a good job working overseas for the past 3 years. i am now moving back home for good, taking a very large pay cut because i want equal custody of my kids.
