QUESTIONS

  • Roommate's drunk cousin (eviction): I am listed on Rental Lease Agreement with a roommate. The roommate has a Guest (cousin) who is NOT on the lease staying in the living room for over a month. Roommate's Cousin helps her with expenses and rent at times. The roommate's cousin is an alcoholic, and gets drunk, becomes unruly, staggering, breaking things, etc. I would like to have the Guest Removed from the premises, evicted, when drunk particularly, or permanently. Can I have the police remove the drunk cousin of my roommate AGainst my Roommates discretion?
  • Nephew and ex sister in law have power of attorney of my brother who had heart attack and stroke. they put joes vehicles in nephews name, and arent paying bills like thdy should be, ie, mortgage is 5000 behind. Running up credit cards, and say theyre going to file bankruptcy on joe Isnt this against the law???
  • Myself & 3 other sisters are named in our mother's will equally(AZ resident when died). Our oldest sister, executor, gave all our mother's home furnishings, etc. to her grown children. Is there something we can do without engaging an attorney? Thank you for your assistance.
  • I received a letter from DMV requesting I pay $500.00 for abandonment fee I am 62 yrs old and I am on SSI I let a friend drive my vehicle he was stopped and was not aware he had a suspended license. So they imounded my vehicle and requested about $300.00 for impounds and storage I did not have the money I am on a fixed income I ended up loosing my truck and now they DMV to pay $500.00 for abandonment fee I could lose my license if I dont pay it Could you help me I heard their is some type of waiver I could get if I am low income and go to court
  • What are Conciliation Services?
  • I was employed by a Cruise Line located in Hawaii but I reside permanently in Arizona. I was wrongfull terminated by the company for supposed theft of alcohol during an event. There is no emerical proof of me doing this on video footage. I originally was a union member but as I was promoted to an officer on-board, my position changed to non-union. How can I go about fighting the accusations and being compensated for my travel exspensed home, defamation of character, and the loss of my job?
  • If the landlord says there was illegal activities were occurring but has no proof, can they give you an immediate eviction notice without reasonable cause or without going to court?
  • What are my rights to having a guest while renting a room?
  • I go to college In AZ and the Apt. I am required to pay a full months rent even though I will be there for 5 days for the month....Is that legal and do I have recourse......I have to pay or the school wont let me graduate....is there something I can do once I graduate to get my money back?
  • I moved out of an apt without having a walk through but I took several pictures. Two weeks later I received a letter stating they were keeping my pet deposit and that I owed them an additional amount of money. I disagree with some of the charges they have. How can I dispute this and what is my time limit? They have given me 30 days to pay before sending to collections. Also, can the landlord charge for painting the interior? I even filled in any holes made from hanging pictures. Don't they have to paint anyway?
