QUESTIONS

  • What form do I use to expunge a misdemeanor?
  • I reside in NV, but need to modify an existing permanent guardianship order in Phoenix juvenile court. I have permanent guardianship now of my two year granddaughter, won through Judge Norris. The case was ICWA, and the paternal grandmother was awarded eleven weeks visitation, and has not used one day and called three times in two years. The childs father is being released from AZDOC in October and I am frightened that the paternal grandmother will suddenly want visitation. What can I do to modify the order to require transistional visits, supervised visitation?
  • If an attorney tells you not to contact someone, is that legally binding?
  • If my 81-year-old husband predeceases me without a will, how is his estate settled? We have no children together, but he has three grown daughters. The bank accounts, house and car pass to me because we own them jointly with right of survivorship, but what about other property he owns by himself?
  • My fiance moved into a duplex, and I was at a assisted living center. She asked me to move in and said that the leading company stared since she was my care giver, I did not have to be added to lease. Well 2.5 y3ars later, we received a ten day notice to make a new application or have me move out. All my mail and electric, t.v cable are all in my name. I am 100 percent disabled, and have a eviction on my record 7 years ago. Do i have rights to stay?
  • Our tenant moved out on November 29, having not paid part of October, or November. There are extensive damages to the house that exceed their security deposit. They have said that they do not have money to pay us the back rent, or for the damages above the security deposit. I'm thinking of going to small claims court for the back rent, and then going to Superior court for the damages above the security deposit in the not to distant future. Is that legally acceptable? I am in the process of collecting quotes for repairs. Thank you!
  • What eye doctors accept AHCCCS?
  • I haven’t written my landlord about my A/C not working, however, I called him. It’s going on 9 days now that it hasn’t been fixed. Is there a way I don’t have to pay full rent?
  • Can my wife move with my children out of state? I have a career in Arizona. She has a recently acquired minimum wage job. We're divorcing and she wants to leave AZ.
  • Paternity and support. I have been summons that says that I have been named the father of a child. It says that I am hevy summoned and required to appear and defend in the abouve entitled action, in superior court within twenty days to respond. I went to the required class that they talk about but, I have no idea what to do from here?
