I rented a house and since I have moved in I have had significant and constant reoccurring breathing problems. I have been to the ER and Urgent care and it is worsening. The property management company has said they will get quotes to have the vents cleaned but will have not. What are my recommended courses of action? Am I allowed to break my lease with no recourse from them due to medical problems? How can I find out if there is a mold issue in the home?

I made a huge mistake by cosigning on a car loan for a girlfriend back on 09/15/08. She only made 9 payments on the vehicle then let it go back to the bank. It's now October 2015 and they are coming after me for the loan amount + interest totaling $13,000 altogether. I'm retired and living solely on Social Security of $1,776 per month and two small pensions totaling $624 which = $2,400 per month. And I'm living with my daughter to make ends meet. Therefore I can't afford to pay theses people. I had an initial pre-trial conference on 10/8/15 and represented myself because I can’t afford an attorney. It was determined that there will be a trial on 12/14/15. I told the loan company in court “that I have no money and living on $2,400 per month and living with my daughter to make ends meet, and they’re still pursuing the trial date. My questions are: 1) Will the Arizona Statute of Limitations A.R.S. § 47-2725 four (4) years get me out of this mess completely? 2) I've been told and read online that Social Security income and Pensions “cannot be garnished”. Do you know if this is true? If it's true then I have nothing to worry about and won't need to file bankruptcy. 3) If I lose my case can I file bankruptcy on a judgement that's been awarded against me? 4) Can they levy / garnish my checking account where my Social Security checks and Pension checks are electronically deposited? Hello, I married my spouse about 1 year ago. We then PCSed to overseas. My wife found employment in a GS-8 job. Now she wants to live the single life- never comes home, parties all the time with others, and has had affairs with other men. I want to divorce her but she doesn't want to get a divorce because she wants to keep the GS job. Her job really likes her and is looking for a way to keep her here . Its I want nothing to do with her. My question- is there a law that protects service members from these predatory spouses that marry just for the preferential hiring for these GS jobs?

My 91 year-old father has recently been admitted to an Altzheimer's long term care facility. My stepsister, his ex-wife and a fiduciary have healthcare Power of Attorney. The fiduciary is private and only acts as a substitute. I have no access to his medical records. I live in CA & cannot take charge of his care. He's medicated and sleepy all the time. How can I get access to his medical records without becoming responsible for his care from another state? My stepsister is not cooperative and has even threatened my visits with my father. The fiduciary interceded on my behalf. His ex-wife has taken all his assets.

I have been in the rental house in AZ for more than 5 years. Now that I am leaving the landlord say's they are charging me late fee from past rent over the last five years. Can they do this even thoe they never said or mention rent was late and there was not late fee asked for. But in the lease it does say there is a late fee if rent is late but has never told me rent was ever late or ever ask for late fee's before me giving my notice to leave
