  • what type of rights do grandparents have if the grandkids have lived with their parents all their life and the grandparents have seen them all their life?
  • My air condition unit went out. I contacted my landlord told him the problem. He called his maintenance/repair guy he fixed the problem 24 hours later. Now the landlord wants me to pay $800 in repairs/labor saying it was my fault due to not changing filters every month. I did change the filters every 60 days even though the filters I buy say they last up to 3 months. What's the right way to go about this situation?

For a while, they had their own bug guy come in and treat our apartment once we moved in, but now they stopped. We canot get rid of them!!!! The repair man said from the start that the unit needed to be replaced but it never was. Our AC bills were as high as 700 dollars due to the issues. Do we have a case in small claims court?

  • We discovered we had a rat in our apartment, that same day we reported it to the office and they scheduled for an exterminator to set traps two days later. The next day we started seeing ticks around the apartment, we have one dog and started him on Nexguard tick preventative right away. The apartments are stating that they do not cover for tick exterminator because the ticks couldn't have traveled via the rat. Who is responsible for tick extermination?
  • Does a 20ft x 20ft area of sand filled with animal waste that is potent enough to be smelled 100 ft away count as a violation of implied warranty of habitability? The lease we signed said that we were responsible for the yard after 30 days but the smell is so strong we couldn't figure out where it was coming from until a few days after that time frame.
