  • I have a son who his father and I aren't married but the father is on the birth certificate. His father just got out of prison and threatens me with leaving the state with my son. How do I get soul custody of my son?
  • I live in some apts and about 2wks ago we got a notice on our door saying we owe $146 frm this past months rent(sept) we ask what its for since we always pay a lil extra on rent. They tell us we r now since Aug. Are being billed separately for our water,trash,elected etc. Our lease states we r on a fixed rate. They say they sent out notices in April, we never got one. We asked if they changed it in our lease and they say they will not be changing it on leases cause its too much work. Can they do that? And what can we do about it?

She moved out and the ex-husband stayed with his daughter in the house. Is the ex-husband still liable for the provisions of the lease his ex-wife signed? Or is the ex-wife responsible? Thank you.
  • My townhouse has water damage from a pipe leak. Landlord sent maintenance guy to fix pipe. 6 days later sent a mold specialist to check for moisture but not mold. Sent maintenance guy back to take out dry wall and pull up carpet. Did not secure room where water damage was to ensure that if there is mold in the wall it was contained did not remove all of the wet areas that the mold specialist recommended. What are my rights? How can I legally make sure that they handle this health and safety issue properly because they are clearly cutting corners and not using certified specialists.
