  • I am divorcing my husband due to domestic violence against me & my daughter. Will I be able to keep the house without having to buy out his share?
  • My tenant lied about having a puppy. My home is a no pets home. She moved the dog in when she moved it. When we found about the dog we gave her a 10 day notice letter that she had no idea was coming. Within 18 hours she went on a website and got a letter saying that the puppy is now an emotional support dog and if we try to evict her she will sue us under Federal Housing Act. What are my protections? Add said no pets, applications said no pets, lease says no pets and she lied. Also advertised in local neighborhood website for a pet sitter. So, it wasn't an emotional support dog then
  • I signed a lease with a husband and wife to rent my mobile home in a 55 and up Resort. They are supposed to rent for January February and March 2017. They told me it was only going to be the two of them. Afterwards Once the lease was signed they stated they were going to have their sister in there for 2 weeks, then they were going to have another couple in there for 10 days, and then another visitor that was staying for a so-called long weekend. I do not have anything in my lease regarding visitors, but they it was only going to be the two of them. Can I keep the deposit if they break lease

  • Our building is pretty old and the plumbing here is always giving everyone problems. Usually the owner fixes it and that's that. Well this time, the toilet is plugged up and it's the 3rd time.   • This is an odd question for Arizona, but in the summer my landlord keeps the thermostat locked when he is in town. He is a rather large man, and keeps the A/C at 69 during the summer. Myself and my roommate nearly have to wear winter garments to be comfortable. Not only is this a waste of electricity, but it is extremely uncomfortable for his tenants. Is there anything I can do about this? Legally.
