  • My husbands ex wife took out a loan on him without his permission and him being there. Is there any criminal or legal options to pursue her or is this something we have to civilly approach?

  • My sister gave my husband and I power of attorney over her son when he was a month old because she had several outstanding warrants including one for failure to pay child support for her other two children. She turned herself in and was out in about a month she asked for baby back and complied, about a week later she was incarcerated again. We got the baby he was 3 months he will be turning 2 soon she was recently released from prison and has only had contact with him twice. She wants to take him with her but she does not have a job or her own place. What can I do to keep her from taking him.
  • I rent a house that is in foreclosure. the landlord does not know that i am aware . The house is being put up for auction in 60 days. Am I within my legal rights to withhold rent so I can find another place to live? Can he try to evict prior to the auction due to unpaid rent?

  • We had flooding from recent storm. Walls got wet, carpet got wet, and light fixture not working. Landlord said let dry out and things will be fine. No repairs. Only cut open wall to worst leak and put a dryer in there. No one has come back. That 9/8/14. Today is 9/10/14. Should we give 5 or 10 day notice to fix? It now smells moldy in here, and I have to cook dinner in semi dark. Already frustrated because we have roaches! I have allergies and don't want to be exposed to them or to mold.

He was arrested for a misdemeanor for minor in consumption, and giving false information to officer (lied about his name shortly after came clean). Do we need to retain an attorney to get this cases expunged or set aside?
