  • My landlord has given my work email and work phone number out to realtors so that they are contacting me not the landlord for showings of the house., on my work contact. The realtors are also asking for same day appointments etc because they do not realize that I am the tenant not the owner/landlord. Is this a violation of my privacy? I do not want these people to call me constantly at work.   • We signed a year lease, Feb.2015. There was a note on our door, may 4th,2015 saying we haven't signed yet. We called the Apt. Mngr. and he looked it up on the computer and saw that we did sign a lease but the year was wrong on the lease. Instead of 2015-16 it said 2014-15 but it has our signatures and the right date of signing 2-28-15. Nobody caught that when we signed in Feb.He said to come in and resign.When we went yesterday to resign he said the rent also increased even though we were quoted the price in the lease in Feb. This seems unfair and wrong/illegal?Help appreciated.Thanks, Tom
  • I'm the landlord and I want the people to move I had them evicted 8 months ago and then I felt sorry for them when they asked if they could sleep in their car in driveway with their 2 small children and their dog . I tried to evict them again last month for nonpayment of the utilities and failure to dispose of their huge pile of household trash , unfortunately I gave them a 24 hr notice to clean it up so I did not win the eviction , the verbal agreement was that they were to pay utilities water trash electric . I want them out What forms can I use to remedy this situation ?

  • Does the Late Fee Fairness Amendment Act Of 2016 also apply to mobile home park owners? I own my mobile but rent the lot. My landlord charged me a late fee on a late fee, but all of my rent has been paid on time. They claim that they can't apply my rent check for Dec. because it's not the full amount of my account, which includes the late fees. The late fee was because I was disputing the water bill and wasn't paying until we were able to speak about it on the phone, which was past the date that rent is due. They said they would waive the late fees, then reneged.
