My stepfather has been admitted to a long term nursing home this year with Medicaid pending. Does my 81 year old Mother need to file taxes? Mom's attorney prepared the Medicaid application.

My widowed mother disinherited my sister who is my only sibling. Her will states that she has 2 children and my sister and I are named. She states that "I am making no distribution to (sister's name inserted) in this will." I am the executor and I am the sole inheritor of her entire estate. Am I required to notify my sister of our mother's' passing? Am I required to post a notice in the local paper here or, if public notice is required and I post it online? Where? The sister is in Florida. My mother and I live in Arizona.

It's 7/31/2018 my lease ends 8/1/18 . I'm finishing up with the cleaning of the property and I just went to fill up a bucket and have no water. Oue lease is up in a couple of days, and the landlords and his family have been there for the past two updating the lawn. We were not notified that they were coming prior to their arrival. This has been an ongoing problem with them. They felt that as soon as they put the house on the market they can come whenever they choose. We have requested in writing that they give us notice , but in last two days they have not honored that . What are my rights?

My 85 year old mother passed away suddenly on May 25. 2013. She had a lease and a security deposit of $200.00. The apartment complex has suddenly (after 3 months of attempting to get it returned after perfect walk through results) decided that I am not able to get any security deposit. Also, refuse to return my extra monies paid to stay for 14 days to remove my mother's items. I was assured that all of the money would be returned to me but now that they have a new owner, they state that they will not return any of the money that they agreed to return to me. AZ law states that they were to notify me within 14 days if any problems with refund with her security deposit or they have to pay double the amount back. Is this applicable in this case? I have continuously attempted to contact them regarding this issue and I finally got a bunch of passing the blame answers and this is three months late.
