I was homeless w/ a puppy & offered home in exchange for cleaning and lawn svcs. he bills owners for. Owner would text, call, & pop in daily. I got a p/t job to earn cash. When I wasn’t there he gave me one day to get out due to lack of communication. I painted patio, garage, shelves, trimmed trees and shrubs, planted flowers, cleaned all units regularly, & complied. I did good work because his clients sent me reviews & he got paid! Can he do that or can I stay until I find a place?

My daughters father has been absent for 5 years. He had a prior court order that allowed him visitation over 5 years ago. He completely stopped taking her or picking her up. Has not contacted her or I since then. She is now 8 and he now wants to see her again and wants shared legal etc. He is also now engaged and had a 2 year old. Is it likely he will just get visitation ? Or will I be able to get full custody ?

My 4yo daughters biological “father” hasn’t seen nor spoken to her in just shy of 6months which was just a call on her birthday and hadn’t spoken to her several months before that. He hasn’t paid child support for almost a year and a half. And he has only physically seen her 4 times in her entire life 3 of which I brought her to him in a different state. Mind you I was with her the entire time they were never alone nor has he ever cared for her by herself. My husband and I met when she was 7 months old and we want him to adopt her bio dad said no of course. So I want to know whaticandolegally

My ex husband currently has temporary custody of our three kids. The order was granted for a year. That year has past already and since then I have made great progress in life. It was my decision to give their father the kids because after he abandoned me and the kids, I was having a difficult time trying to support myself and my kids. Throughout our 13yr marriage I was a stay at home mother as he requested, so being as such, gaining stability did not come easy. Now that I have stability he makes it hard to be active in our kids lives. How do I regain rights to my kids?
