My ex husband and have been divorced since 2008 we both have joint custody and the children have primarily lived with me and have had the same parenting plan in place since, however this past December my ex husband asked for a modification and the judge awarded him as the "primary residential parent" since parenting time was modified and the children are now staying with him more than me. We both still have jjoint custody. My ex husband changed the kids school with out me knowing or agreeing dose he have the right to do this? The order dosnt say he can make educational decision on his own.

I want to file a petition to get my criminal record expunged. How do I go about that?

My 85 year old mother passed away suddenly on May 25. 2013. She had a lease and a security deposit of $200.00. The apartment complex has suddenly (after 3 months of attempting to get it returned after perfect walk through results) decided that I am not able to get any security deposit. Also, refuse to return my extra monies paid to stay for 14 days to remove my mother's items. I was assured that all of the money would be returned to me but now that they have a new owner, they state that they will not return any of the money that they agreed to return to me. AZ law states that they were to notify me within 14 days if any problems with refund with her security deposit or they have to pay double the amount back. Is this applicable in this case? I have continuously attempted to contact them regarding this issue and I finally got a bunch of passing the blame answers and this is three months late.

Me and my ex girlfriend have a daughter out of wedlock. I am curious how child support works with that type of situation. I'm on the birth certificate. I also don't think she is fit or ready to take care of my daughter. I would like short term full custody and then when she has her feet on the ground we can readjust. How should I go about this ?

My sister in law came to stay with us from CA because we didn't want her to be homeless....we allowed her to stay here so that she could have time to get a job and find a place for herself. She is not on the lease and doesn't pay rent nor has there ever been rent spoken of because this was supposed to be temporary. She did have her mail forwarded to herself her. Since moving in we have found out she is actively using street drugs and is not making efforts to help herself and has become increasingly hostile and verbally abusive. Can she still be removed as a guest...the police said no. Help.

I owe a credit union in Michigan $25,000 for Visa and $175,000 for second mortgage. They wrote the balances off 12/30/2010. I continued to make payments on the mortgage thru May-2012. I have not received any communications from the credit union since then. In June 2013 I received a letter from a collection agency that states that I owe $200,000 on the 2nd mortgage and $32,000 on the visa. What are my rights? What am I obligated to pay? Does Arizona have a law that creditors are not allowed to solicit more than what they paid for a debt? Your help would be greatly appreciated. SB

My judgement was set aside in 2012. How come I am not able to pass a background check when I am applying for work? What other steps can I take to close my judgement?

I am renting a room in a house. The landlord has not given me a signed copy of the lease/agreement. The landlord does not give me a rent receipt. I have been living here for about 8 months, sending/mailing the landlord checks regularly. Now, the landlord is asking me to give a detailed breakdown of rent/checks paid ad the associated dates in a specific format. I have done the best I can. The landlord has been sending me multiple messages regarding this over the weekend. Isn't this the landlords job, to keep track of the rent/checks paid. I feel the landlord treats me differently versus others.

how do you find out if you are divorced before you spend all that money

I am trying to find out where to file custody. My son who is eight years old.has been living with me for 7 years in AZ.About 2 years ago I moved to NY. His father took him. He does not have legal custody of him. I am back in AZ. My quistion is, do i file in NY or in AZ?
