  • I am a renter with wife and 3 children, We have not had A/C since 8/31/17. Landlord has a home warranty program and its taking forever to rectify the issue. Ive been told various dates and times but they always fall through. Now its supposed to be Saturday 9/9/17 btwn 12-4. What is my recourse against the Landlord? she has offered nothing . All I hear is she is a single mom of 3 kids, who lives with her parents.
  • Who can evict me. My landlord does not own property. His sister does. I refused to pay this months rent. I have a part of my ceiling exposed because the ceiling fell due to water damage. Insulation exposed, black mold is there. MLandlord sent 5 day eviction notice in mail. text me that he will be giving me a letter tomorrow saying he is inspecting home on Sunday. What do I do?   • I filed for a order of protection 2/18 & defendant filed to drop it (heating 3/4). Judge said there were 2 violations since OP was granted but since I replied to his saying he was sorry to hear about the death of my 23 yr. old cat (no law says I can't contact him!) he/Judge said he's only guilty of one violation ...yet he firmly told defendant to leave me alone & granted his request to dismiss the Order of Protection.   • My ex-wife took out a protection order against my 17 year old daughter's boyfriend back in March 2011. My daughter did not wish for this but could not stop her mother. Now my daughter is 18 years old and wants to be removed from the protection order. Can she do this in a simple manner? Or does she have to hire a lawyer and go to court?
