QUESTIONS

  • Can a minor attend their court hearing with someone other than their guardian?
  • The property management company is trying to charge a new deposit. I've lived here since 3/5/19 and have already paid a deposit to the previous property manager that was handling this unit. He was fired due to theft. He drafted my lease to show my move in date to be 4/30/19 instead of 3/5/19. I paid a deposit and rent for march and april and the property management company has no record of it and are unable to locate the person who was fired. What can I do?
  • My landlord has sold the house I am renting. I have 10 months left on the lease. The new home-owner is not buying the house as "occupied". I have agreed to move out. Do the old homeowners owe me any sort of compensation because they broke the lease (comparable to what I would owe if I were the one breaking the lease)? I had about 1 weeks notice. Thanks!
  • I'm trying to rent or sell my home which is currently rented. Tenant doesn't want anyone in the home & won't respond to my calls & emails. Do phone messages & emails fullfill the requirements for 2 day entry notice or must i post a notice on door? If so, would you tell me where in the AZ landlord tenant act is notice for entry? Also, for viewing purposes, if I have a viewing for a prospective tenant, may I give a 2-hour window then call the realtor so she can post that realtors may show the home during that 2-hr time too?
  • Does any one answer the questions posted. Have asked a question in 3 diff. categories since June and still no reply.

She lives with my parents in mexico (they do not have papers to live in the states)My sister wants to move to the states to finish school and go to college. How can i obtain temporary custody for her to come live with me? High schools have told me i need to have legal custody of her for me to enroll her in school. Please help!
  • My renter has been doing all sorts of antagonistic things towards me for about two months now - like waking me purposely very early in the morning (as early as 5 am). I've asked her to stop and she won't. Can I legally do anything about this - she is moving out but not soon enough. It is affecting my health because of sleep deprivation and stress (I have chronic fatigue).
  • What are the laws on repairs .i have a child with Heath issues and my AC has been out for over a week
  • I need to prepare a writ for the Superior court of Maricopa county. I have a judgment and want the sheriff to go out and seize something. The court keeps sending my packet back to me saying I don't have this or I need that but do not explain how to do it. Very frustrating. The current reject says "....the writ you are submitting to get issued to the Superior Court is the paperwork for a Justice Court". Searched for hours and cannot find any such application for Superior Court on a writ.
  • My girlfriend and I split up almost a year ago. We have a 15 month old daughter. She won't let me see her. I have paid child support as much as I can. I have to go through the grandmother for visitation, and only get to see her an hour every two weeks if I'm lucky. How do I go about getting joint custody?
