  • I have sent two emails to my landlord and a letter with rent asking for a leak to be repaired. I have not received a call or email back to schedule the repair. I know the letter was received because rent was cashed. What options do I have to get the leak repaired?

  • Hi, I have a few questions. I have a landlord that recently told me the rent was going up by 200 dollars with about a 2 week notice via text message. Is that legal? Also, I had told her I was having an issue with foul odors coming from the hall restroom and requested her send a plumber or her handyman. This problem has been brought up to her previously as well and no action was taken on her part. She actually got upset with me at the request.   • My sister began occupying my fathers house when he became incapacitated. Unfortunately he has since passed away (11 mos. since she moved in there, which she said was supposed to be temporary). I am the trustee, she is to receive 1/4 of the estate once it's settled.
