  • I used to work for the park I live in,they paid my rent. I was let go mid month, i contacted the managers boss,On November 2nd. the manager mailed out a 7-day eviction notice to me for non-payment of rent. I am awaiting disability to come in,i can only work 20hrs. max a week. I was not given any time to set-up a payment plan as others here have been able to do. The manager locks the door when she see's me coming to her office. I own the trailer but rent the spot. The eviction notice was not signed by anyone. Is this a Legal notice? I feel this is Retaliation!! what can I do ??

  • I hired a moving company to move my stuff from WI to AZ (company is based in IL.) Upon reviewing the contract I discovered bad math, but I had already signed. When my stuff got here, I had to pay the remaining $650 in cash to the driver or he would return my items to IL and be charge for them holding my items. I was then pressured to place a $0 in the what is due. However, my issue is that they had overcharged me. The driver would not deal with any of those issues and I had to pay him. If I file a claim do I have a chance to be granted my overpayment, or am I SOL due to the $0 on balance due.

  • my manager did not accept my rent on the first and told me to wait until she got back to me on monday 5 about why i had a notice certified mail from them.   • I purchased a mobile home in 55+ almost 2 years ago. I only pay lot rent monthly for lot #46. Today I received an additional email with an additional separate bill of $32 which said "Lot 47 occupied by Unit 46 extra lot fee charge". I was unaware the mh I purchased 2 years ago was on more that 1 lot, nor does any lease agreement or purchase paperwork state anything about my mh sitting on a double lot. This is the first I am hearing of this. Out of the blue they are billing me for a partial additional lot. Can they legally do that after 2 years? Space/Lot #47 is not mentioned anywhere.

My ex gets out daughter on the weekends and after missing last weekend, she informs my that see will be in Chicago for a month maybe longer for a family tragedy. Now whether or not if that is true does that change the way that I file or will I have to wait for her to come back whenever that maybe.
