  • If my wife and I filed our divorce papers but we havent had our first court date, do I have to pay child support? We have our own agreements that were filed with our papers but nothing is court ordered yet. Our early resolution court date has beem pushed back to june.

  • My ex wife has decided to quit her job, remove my daughter from school and live abroad for a year (and homeschool my daughter). While I do think this would be a great experience for my daughter, I do think a year is too long and I also struggle with the fact that her mother may meet someone there and never move back home. What legal action can I take PROACTIVELY (prior to her leaving the country) to make sure that it is a court order that she is only there for 6 months maximum and that she is required to send proof of homeschooling to me.

His pay is being garnished via Arizona and Louisiana respective government agencies. Can he get the child support modified and if so where would he do it?

I understand that I cannot get this expunged if it involves the infliction of serious physical injury, but how or who determines what is a "serious physical injury"?
