QUESTIONS

  • How is paternity established?
  • My husband wants a Divorce and we have a boat that has His Name OR my name. Does the word OR make it community property? He says it was a gift to him and won't sell it. What does the word OR mean on the title? Is it community property?
  • What if a landlord, (who after some research is not licensed or associated with management company, for which he claims) continues to ignore our pleas to fix the hazardous wiring, and flooring that is not disabled friendly? Also what if there are conflicting reports on a black mold inspection? We were told yes we do and the landlord refuses to clean the ducts because his report says no. I have been hospitalized 6 times, and when I have pneumonia, it gets worse each time, which caused me to have a O2 level go as low at 83 this last one. A high risk for retaliation, A fear of house safety.
  • I purchased a couch that we picked up and the box had damage to it which was noted on the invoice. 130 miles round trip. Couch weights 211 pounds. Couch is defective. We wanted them to pick up the couch and bring one that works properly. She said that she will not deliver to Arizona. So either we would like our money back and they come pick up their couch or they bring us the new couch and pick up the defective item how do we stand legally to get them to do this?
  • The issue of Right of First Refusal has come up. Can the Right of First Refusal be customize to fit our needs, or does AZ law always require one parent to notify the other parent when they can not watch the child during their scheduled time, even if it is only for an hour or two. Can the plan be written stating that if the absents is longer than 8 hours than the Right of First Refusal applies, but if the time is less than 8 hours the parent has the right to contact the grandmother to watch our child? The grandmother has been involved in our child's life since birth. Custody is joint. Thanks
  • I'm still legally married to my husband even though we haven't lived together or been in a relationship for over 3 years. Recently my boyfriend and I had a child and we want his information legally on our son's birth certificate. My husband is refusing to sign the waiver of paternity. What form(s) do I need to file with the court to establish paternity without his involvement?
  • MY HUSBANDS EX WIFE WAS ARRESTED FOR CHILD ABUSE AND HIS DAUGHTER WAS SENT TO A NON RELATIVE FROM CPS WHAT CAN WE DO TO GET HER HOME WITH US WITH HER FATHER?
  • What can I do if my husband is not filing his set of divorce papers, mine have been filed already and I waited the required amount of time, but he will not file his papers saying he is too busy. We have no children together and we agreed on everything. I believe I need to file a default form, but does that mean we have to have a hearing? Is there anyway to file the default form and have no hearing? Especially being we have no property/assets to divide.
  • We bought a manufactured home in a 55+ community and out next door neighbor is running a “workshop” next door. We are unable to enjoy our home in the evening due to his sawing metal, compressors, and loud banging well into the night. It sounds like we have a factory in our living room. Our property manager has tried to make him stop but he continues to keep us awake with his noise and is EXTREMELY defensive if he is asked to stop. We do not have the money to relocate our home, what else can we do?
  • I have lived woth my boyfriend and his mother in this apartment since they moved in i actually found the house for them. The landlord never put me on the lease for the house but i am on the housing lease it has been a year and now all of a sudden rhe landlord is charging me 50$ a month to stay here. Can he do that if he hasnt charged me from the very begining? He knew i would be livin here with them i do not know what to do.
