Me and my ex wife have shared custody of our six year old daughter for the past 5 and half years. My ex wife now wants to move from chandler to queen creek, changing my daughters school to the queen creek area. I stated this was not fair because my drive would increase to 15 extra miles per trip, adding more drive time during my visitation days. Is this a fair assumption on my part? If we go to court what should I expect from a judge's descision?

My Mother lived in and owned property in Sun City, AZ for about 30 yrs. She had two living children whom have had a rather toxic relationship. She had a living trust and her son is named Successor Trustee. In 2003 she suffered a small stroke and (while still mentally alert) she had a problem with her speaking ability. As a result, she retired as Trustee and named her son who divides his time between New Mexico and Alaska. Her son physically relocated her to New Mexico about 10 months before she passed in Feb. 2011. He had sold her property in AZ in Sept 2010 but moved all her personal belongings to his property in NM prior to that date. Her remains are interred in AZ. Which state would have jurisdiction if a probate proceeding is necessary? (i.e.- Say the Successor Trustee fails to act?)

We are schedule to move out on 1/31/08. Landlord has offer to have a mock walk thru on 1/24 to let us know of anything she notices that would need fixing. We are then having the final walkthru on 1/31/08. She may not catch all items until after 2/1/08 when she is cleaning, etc. Is this true that she can go back after our final walkthru and find things without us being there and after the fact?

I am a cashier and stand for 8 hours. Have severe leg and back pain. My doctor filled out the form to reduce my hours to 20 and no more than 6 hour shifts. For the FMLA do I have to be employed for 12 months for just a reduction in hours. Need to know before I submit form.

If i'm submitting a 30-day notice to my landlord before the end of the month; do I have to pay full rent for the next month? Shouldn't I only pay for the number of days I will be there for the last month?

my husband and his ex wife have joint custody of there son. the ex wife has now moved out of state and gave 24 hour notice . does she have any rights to her court order any more ? we are planning on filing a change of custody soon but she feels she still has rights . when all she is doing is more harm to our son by coming in and out of his life all the time and not helping with paying her support and she is back in her support about 15k .

we have lived in this RV park for two months now we're getting evicted for nonpayment of rent but we didn't get a written notice or anything are they required to give us a written notice

3/31 Lease on rental home ended. 3/18 Move-out inspection done with owner. No finding except 3 bulbs needed. Owner stated he would mail check next week. 3/20 Rec'd signed inspection list for 3 bulbs. 3/20 Utilities shut off. 3/22 Rec'd email from owner stating I was obligated to keep utilities on until 3/31. And that he was going to do work on the house. He suggested I give him an amount to deduct for utilities till 3/31. And if not I can refute deductions upon receipt of deposit. Need direction in the event I pursue legal action.
