QUESTIONS

  • I am a homemaker and I found out my husband of 9 years cheated on me. When confronted he left and has not been back, . We do not own our house but he has abandoned me and everything else leaving me with no vehicle, no money, and also cleaned out our bank account. What are my legal rights and where can I get help when I have no money for one?

  • My ex has made it so hard to visit him. All on her terms. I live in phx and she lives in Prescott so I drive up North to see him. She won't let me take him over nights and I'm lucky if I get to see him twice a month. She recently had me served to try to sever my father rights. Next court date was suppose to be November 5. But she was involved in a crime and she is now in jail. She has violated her probation plus new five felonies. I received a letter a couple days ago saying my court date with her had been vacated. Her parents won't let me have my son. What paperwork do I need to file?

  • I had a job as a property manager which one of the perks was a free apartment. I was arrested off property for an non-work related reason. I spent four days in jail. The charges were later dropped. When I returned from jail, I was fired and locked out of my apartment. I believe it was wrongful termination, but that's another matter. My question is even though I was an employee, am I still not covered under the Arizona Landlord/Tenant Act? I think I should have had a 10 day Notice to Vacate.
  • If a child has been removed from the home by CPS and assigned a family guardian 8+ yrs ago, does the mother have to petition the court in order to restore parental rights and get the child back? Or does the guardian have to petition the court?

He left over a month ago and has not helped or contacted me. We own a home and there is a joint tenancy deed between my mom, me, and my husband. What is the difference between a joint tenancy deed and community property?
