  • Is my landlord to the mobile home park in which I live responsible to pay for extermination of a severe cockroach infestation in my rental?
  • Have had many issues with AC ceiling unit leaking all over kitchen floor in my apt since March. Manager does nothing. I delivered a 10-day form from gov website statute 33-1324 10 days ago. Is there anything more to it then just moving out? What if they try to say I broke lease and report to credit?
  • My house has rats and landlord hired an exterminator who laid bait under the wood floors and the rats died in the house. The house now smells putrid and my landlord refuses to hire someone to remove the rats. I don't know what to do, I can't even stay in my own house. Also after I read through our rental agreement I noticed that she has snuck in little clause stating that if I take any type of legal action towards her she has the right to evict me. Is any of this legal?!

  • I moved in the 4th of July weekend, signing a 1 year lease, which will convert to month-to-month after the 1st year. On 12/31/15 I received a notice that they were raising my "tax" amount effective 2/1/16 - is this legal? And once the lease becomes month-to-month and you agree to a rental amount increase (which is sure to come), do you legally have to sign the agreement which is the same format as a "1 year" lease? Is it also possible to receive a copy of the "Landlord/Tenant Handbook"?
